A list of our most Frequently Asked Questions:
www.joannasbridalboutique.com?
Joanna's Bridal has now added a new website to our business! www.joannasbridalboutique.com! We welcome you to the launching of our new website. Please browse through our newest addition to our business, and let us know what you think.
Joanna's Bridal and Tailoring has now been officially changed to Joanna's Bridal Boutique. We are hoping this new look will give our business a new edge and glam to celebrate the New Year. www.joannasbridalandtailoring.com will of course stay active for the time being, for all our familiar clients. But we are hoping to transition the new additions to our store to be mainly showcased through www.joannasbridalboutique.com. So please feel free to explore both websites. Thank you.
Do I need an appointment to come look at dresses?
YES, we strongly recommend appointments to come in and try on dresses. When you make an appointment, we reserve a fitting room for you. We also make sure you have one of our expert Bridal Consultants available to answer any questions you may have, and to assist you with trying on the gowns. Without an appointment, you may not have a fitting room available or a Bridal Consultant to help you. So it is always better to make an appointment to try on any dresses to make sure that you get the attention you deserve. Also, if you have any specific dress you want to try on, or a style you are looking for, you can let your Bridal Consultant know these details ahead of time to allow your appointment to run smoothly.
Why does each bride fill out a Bridal Registration Form?
It is important to give each bride the personalized customer service she deserves. Therefore, we require brides to fill out our Registration Form. This form is a short questionnaire about when the wedding date is, if you have specific dresses in mind, and your contact information. This form gives each consultant an idea of how to assist you. After your appointment is complete, our bridal consultants will document any questions we must research for you, and all styles you preferred and expressed interest in during your visit. This way, when you schedule your next appointment with us- we will have all the information on file to assist you with the same great customer service and personalized care. This form is vital to us providing you with consistent customer service.
How long does it take to order dresses?
Bridal gowns, bridesmaids, mothers, etc. all have differing ordering times. Not only do different dress types have different order times, but so do different designers. Therefore, it is easier for us to give you an idea of delivery times if you contact us directly. We are more than happy to give you as much information as possible, to assist you with your orders.
What happens if my bridesmaids are out of the area?
At Joanna's, we are constantly receiving non-local orders. This is something we deal with very often. After the bride approves a style for the bridesmaids, we can open an order and get all the bridesmaids' information. All your bridesmaid needs to do, if they are unable to visit our store, is go to a seamstress or tailor near them and get measurements taken. They can then give us a call during business hours, and give us their measurements so we can discuss sizing. Also, they can pay for their dresses over the phone during that time. We do offer shipping of the dresses to the bridesmaids, at an additional fee, after the dresses come in from the manufacturers.
Are the dresses made according to my measurements?
No, the dresses are NOT made according to your specific measurements. We will of course take your measurements at the time of placing an order. The manufacturers each have their own sizing charts and sizes are different with each designer. We take your measurements to see, according to their charts, what size you best fit. Therefore we help you choose your size, according to the manufacturers sizing charts. Then, after the dresses come in, you have the option of getting your dresses altered to better fit you if needed.
Can you order a dress for me, even if you don't have it in stock?
YES- we can order dresses from our designer lines, even if we do not carry them in stock. However, we cannot always order dresses from designer lines that we do NOT carry in our store. To see lists of featured designers, feel free to look through our Collections Tabs on the Right Upper Corner our website. For more information about ordering, feel free to ask one of our Bridal Constultants.
Are the dresses available in other colors?
Most dresses are available in different colors. But this of course varies depending upon the designers. Bridal collections have fewer color options than bridesmaid lines. And we, of course, can go over this information with you during your appointment. Inquiries about colors can be researched if interested.
